Balancein interior design

A balanced composition feels right. It feels stable and aesthetically pleasing and comes as a result of equally distributed components within a design that create a sense of structure.

Balance in the
visual world

Balance exists wherever we go.
Our eyes are primed to perceive order and equilibrium within nature.
The world we move through is an atmosphere of balance; in colors, forms, patterns, and our own bodies.
It suits us, and we belong to it.

Balance in
architecture

Balance provides stability and structure within a design.
From historic buildings to contemporary urban city developments, balance is there – defining feelings of order and freedom.

Symmetrical
Balance

In Interior Design, symmetrical balance is achieved when your composition has equal visual weight on opposite sides of an axis.
Imagine perfect mirror images viewing each other across a central division.

SYMMETRICAL BALANCE IS THE NATURAL NORM. IT IS USED THOUGHOUT OUR DESIGNS AS A SUBTLE, STRUCTURED GESTURE, EVOKING A SENSE OF FORMALITY AND ORDER..

WE USE ASYMMETRICAL COMPOSITION IN COMMERCIAL AND PUBLIC SPACES IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE A SENSE OF MODERNISM, MOVEMENT, AND VISUAL INTRUGUE WITHIN THE COMPOSITION.

Asymmetrical
Balance

Asymmetrical balance is found by creating an intentionally unbalanced or dissimilar space.
Even when distributing visual weight unevenly, balance can be found by leveraging void space against areas of interest.

Radial
Balance

Radial balance relates to elements that organize around a central point. When the visual weight of these elements is evenly distributed, the result is radial symmetry.

RADIAL COMPONENTS ARE IDEAL IN OPEN SOCIAL AREAS LIKE LOBBIES, LOUNGES, AND TRANSITIONAL SPACES.
